UniVersus – Social VR

As a contracted professional, I joined Universus from the very beginning, with my primary responsibility being the development of the MVP for an ambitious social VR project, primarily targeted for Oculus Quest 1 and 2.

 

In my role as the sole developer, I had the following key responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing the core gameplay elements of the game.
  • Developing and integrating networking functionality.
  • Creating the social aspects of the game, which included enabling players to interact with each other and establishing safe zones.
  • Designing and developing mini-games to enhance the overall player experience.
  • Optimizing performance to meet the specific requirements of Oculus Quest devices.

 

The game received overwhelmingly positive feedback from players and has been successfully distributed on SideQuest.
